LOVELY LILAC FOR 2023

One of the colours slated to be huge for next year is the colour lilac. While lilac has not always been a particularly popular colour for mothers of the bride or groom, we have stocked lilac wedding hats and fascinators for many years, and it is such a pretty colour.

High Street shops are beginning to stock new season styles – and there are plenty of garments in lovely lilac and pale purple hues.

While we think lilac is a lovely colour for Spring and Summer weddings for 2023, fashion pundits are also tipping deep cornflower blue, a reddish brown and a goldish-mustard.  While theses colours may be popular for Autumn, we don’t believe these will translate into beautiful outfits for the wedding season.

We may now be coming towards the end of the summer wedding season, but we have just re-stocked some of our staple colours and designs.  The fabulous and popular “wiggle” piece (ref 16364) is currently available in nine different colourways in the shop, from purple, deep pink to emerald green, and with our black version also available edged in magenta or emerald.

We have also created our legendary 13103 mother of the bride/groom signature hatinator in vibrant colours such as hot pink, turquoise and citrine yellow.

Of course we also have our own mother of the bride/groom collection, which features raspberry, pale pink, cornflower blue, champagne and pale aqua – and we have hats and fascinators to match each of these.
